A 20-year-old woman is dead following a crash near Corry on Monday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

It was reported on Route 6 west of Hatchery Rd. in Wayne Township around 2:18 p.m.

The victim - Ryleigh Plank, of Corry - was heading eastbound on Route 6 when the Dodge truck she was driving crossed into the other lane and hit another Dodge truck with its front driver door, according to troopers.

The crash caused Plank's vehicle to spin before it came to a rest against a guard rail, state police said. The other truck went off the road and overturned, according to investigators.

Plank suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. The other driver - a 31-year-old man from Parma, Ohio - was not injured and refused treatment.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

State police are still investigating the crash and ask anyone who witnessed the crash to call Trooper Kirwin at the Corry station at 814-663-2043.
