Asbury Woods' Nature in Your Neighborhood program has returned for its second year. 

The program takes science and nature on the road to various locations in the City of Erie each Thursday June 15 through August 17. 

The program is free and offers different hands-on activities each week. 

Asbury Woods said their goal is to ignite curiosity about nature through engaging themes and to provide unique learning experiences.

  • July 12: Napier Park off of Napier Ave in Lawrence Park Township - What’s in My Water? Testing Water Quality
  • July 13: McKinley Park - Bees & Butterflies: All About Pollinators
  • July 20: Bayview Park - I Spy! Nature Scavenger Hunt
  • July 27: Rodger Young Park - Underwater Creatures: Find Creatures Big and Small
