Angelo Desantis was drafted in 1943 and served two years in the U.S. Army.

Andrew Puskus was 26 years old when he got the call for duty.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 and he was a member of the 413 Infantry.

Puskus was stationed in Northern, France.

Iroquois Girls Basketball Coach Nick Desantis discussed their service time in this edition of "Remembering Our Veterans".

He recalls their service and sacrifice.

His Dad Angelo passed away 12 years ago, and Nick can still hear his father's inspirational messages.
