Drivers will see a detour next week for a safety improvement project at the intersection of Routes 6N and 99 in Edinboro Borough, Erie County.

Left turns from Route 6N to Route 99 will not be permitted starting Monday.

A detour for Route 6N eastbound traffic using Interstate 79, West Rd. and Route 99 will be posted.

There will also be a detour for Route 6N westbound traffic using Waterford St. to Route 99.

The truck detour will use Route 6N to Route 19 to McClelland St. in Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, to Route 99.

The left-turn restriction will remain in effect for the rest of the project, which is expected to be completed in November.
