As fire companies continue to struggle to maintain the resources needed to keep our communities safe, another local fire company is hosting a yearly fundraiser to help in the cause.

This month, the Lake City Fire Company will host its 3rd Annual Brews and Hoses Brewfest. It's all to raise money to support the life-saving work provided in the West County region.

Attendees can expect to find brewers, wineries, meaderies, and distilleries at the festival again this year.

Additionally, this year marks a special milestone, as the Lake City Fire Company marks 100 years of providing service to the community.

The event will be held on Saturday, July 29th, at the Lake City Fire Company. The Brews & Hoses Brewfest will have a VIP session at noon, and general admission will begin at 1:00 p.m. When you buy tickets online, that admission includes a concert from Chris Higbee too.

Tickets are on sale now. For more information, visit the Lake City Fire Company's website.
