A growing and unique salon experience now has a footprint in Erie County.

It's called Sola Salons. There are more than 600 locations in the U.S. The official opening of the one on Peach Street on Tuesday marks the 37th Sola location in Pennsylvania.

It's a boutique salon suite concept. There are 40 total spaces in this location.

"It's basically private studio suites that are rented out by local beauty professionals, hair, nails, brows, anything that's sort of aesthetically based," said Carolyn Tome, Senior Marketing Manager. 

This Sola Salon location is owned by Scott Enterprises. There are four beauty professionals working there now. More space is available to lease.

Sola Salons is located on 7165 Peach St. in Erie.
