The coroner has released the name of the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a truck in Millcreek Township on Saturday.

Justin Spicer, 43, of Erie, died from multiple blunt force trauma, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook.

It happened on Sterrettania Rd. at Thomas Rd. close to Brown's Farm and Asbury Elementary School around 9:30 p.m.

Police and multiple emergency crews responded to the scene and blocked off traffic in the area.

A Ford truck hit a Honda motorcycle while the truck was trying to make a left turn onto Thomas Rd., according to police.

He was wearing a helmet at the time, Cook said.
