Over a month after a hail storm in late July, and with hail potentially in the forecast tonight, one auto body repair shop is preparing for a potential influx of customers tonight.

They advise customers to park their cars inside a garage, barn, or similar structure if possible, or cover your vehicle if a garage is unavailable.

"If you have a garage, just get [your cars] inside or get them under some kind of a roof if you can," said Patrick Paradiso II, with Dent Master, who is working with Crotty Chevrolet to repair customer's vehicles and dealer inventory.

"I've seen some people put comforters or something on top of their car to kind of help ease [the damage]. But other than that, just get it covered somehow."

Paradiso says they're still repairing vehicles from July's hailstorm, and expect to be hard at work repairing dents until at least October, and potentially as late as December.

But Paradiso says they're still willing and able to take on any additional orders from the potential hail.

He says it's best to take it to a shop to retain your car's value.

"As far as like all the damage here, it's all fixable with paintless dent repair (PDR)," continued Paradiso.

"That way, your car is still 100% original when it's done, so [the] value of your car is still there versus if they were to replace your roof or replace your hood or trunk and paint it. You always want to try to keep that car as original as possible. So that's why paintless dent repair is the preferred fix, so the customer still has that value in their car when they're all done."
