Warren County commissioners are accepting bids to repair and improve the prison roof after Michael Burham escaped this summer.
The request for proposal calls for the installation of a metal mesh roof for the prison yard, along with improvements to the guard window and the installation of more razor wire to deter escapes.
Commissioners say after seeing two manhunts in Pennsylvania in three months, jail security is a priority.

"It's incredibly important that we keep people secure in the facility and keep them from injuring themselves or escaping. All of these measures will be above and beyond what the Department of Corrections has recommended," said Commissioner Jeff Eggleston.
