Fugitive Michael Burham pleaded not guilty to charges in two cases during his formal arraignment in Warren County court Thursday morning.

The charges are related to his escape from the Warren County Jail in July, as well as the kidnapping of a Warren County couple who was forced to drive him to South Carolina.

Burham was on the run after being named as the suspect in the murder of his ex in Jamestown, New York.

He still has to face the original charges in New York State.

The case is expected to be back in Warren County court in late October.
