Pennsylvania State Police are looking to track down the dirt bike which led troopers on a pursuit in Union City Borough last month.

It happened as they tried to pull over the dirt bike on Waterford St. on Aug. 19 just after 10 a.m.

Instead of pulling over, the driver of the dirt bike took off at a high speed south on S. Main St., using public sidewalks and disregarding traffic lights, according to troopers.

The dirt bike tried to make a left-hand turn on Concord St., causing the driver to lay the bike down on its side, but he regained control and took off southbound on S. Main St., state police said.

Troopers said they ended the pursuit due to safety concerns.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Dufala with State Police in Corry at 814-663-2043.
