Thousands of Gannon University students, faculty and staff spanned out across downtown Erie and the Erie region for their annual GIVE day on Saturday.

1,400 volunteers worked to clean up 45 sites through the area in the morning including Presque Isle, the Erie Bluffs, Our West Bayfront neighborhoods and the Sisters of St. Joseph's Neighborhood Network.


This was the 26th year for the event and according to event organizers this was their largest turnout of volunteers.

Volunteers also worked to clean up and give back to their community at the Gannon campus in Ruskin, Florida.
