Warriors to Washington Places Wreath at Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A group of Erie area veterans were able to place a wreath at the Arlington National Cemetery.
For the past ten years the organization, Warriors to Washington, sends a group of veterans to our nation’s capital. They get a chance to see some of the sights and monuments dedicated to service members like themselves. In a special moment at Arlington National Cemetery, the group was able to place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It’s something foreign heads of state get to do when they visit DC.
“It’s always an awesome experience it’s breathtaking,” said Joe Pfadt, founder of Warriors to Washington. “The honor and the ability to conduct a wreath laying ceremony here at Arlington National Cemetery is beyond words.”
That wreath was created by the Erie area company, Gerlach’s Garden and Floral.
