The Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) was named a top VA Medical Center in the United States for patient experience. 

The VAMC was earned the Veterans Health Administration Best Experience Award during the 2023 VA Customer Experience Symposium held on September 13 and 14. 

The VAMC achieved the highest overall combined patient experience and employee experience scores for facilities of similar size and service offerings in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). 

According to the VA, the award recognizes the Erie VA Health Care system for its top-performing metrics and unwavering commitment to exceptional Veteran care.
