The Northwest Pennsylvania Medical Reserve Corps is sponsoring a free Active Shooter Response and Stop the Bleed Training on Wednesday, October 18. 

The goal of the training is to educate participants on how to respond to active shooter scenarios and techniques to control life-threatening bleeding. 

Those interested in attending should register by October 13. The training will be held at the Hirt Auditorium of Blasco Library.
