Millcreek Township participated in the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) and helped remove over 200 pounds of litter from Walnut Creek on Saturday, September 16.

18 volunteers helped remove litter from Walnut Creek and the surrounding Bridger Park. 

According to the township, Walnut Creek is part of the global water system. Water from the creek flows through Bridger Park, which drains into Lake Erie. From there, Lake Erie flows into Lake Ontario via Niagara Falls and drains through the St. Lawrence River into the Atlantic Ocean.
