Annual Re-Use Fest Returns to Erie
Saturday was a chance for people to clean out the garage, basement, and overflowing closets to donate items for local nonprofits to use.
The Pennsylvania Resources Council hosted its fifth annual Re-Use-fest in the parking lot of UPMC Health Plan.
It's a one-of-a-kind drop-off event for gently used materials destined for reuse by numerous local nonprofit organizations.
The nonprofits collecting materials at the event included Erie City Mission, Goodwill of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania, Greater Erie Area Habitat for Humanity, Green Scene Thrift and the A.N.N.A. Shelter.
