Expect lots of gold in the stands for the Erie Otters home opener at the Erie Insurance Arena on Saturday night.

The team is calling it a "gold out" and asking fans to sport that color.

Before the game, fans are invited to hang out on the front lawn of the Erie Insurance Arena.

Otters Fan Fest starts at 3 p.m., and the doors to the arena open up at 5 p.m. with the first 2,500 fans getting free gold Otters shirts.

The puck drops at 7 p.m.
