The Climax & Corsets, Arts & Innovation Festival kicked off in Corry Friday afternoon.

The festival's name was inspired by two of Corry's industrial historic companies - the Climax Manufacturing Company's logging locomotives, and the Nu-Bone Corsets Company.

"So this is the third year for the festival," said Charles Gray, Executive Director of Impact Corry.

"This year we have hot air balloons over Corry. We have an illumination parade where everyone's going to be lit up and dancing down the streets of Corry. We have the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts here, [they] will be unveiling artworks that have been created for downtown Corry. There's all kinds of amazing events happening with the downtown stores and the stores are open late. So it's a fun night."

More information on the event can found on Impact Corry's website.
