State Representative Bob Merski hosted an open house at his new district office in Harborcreek.

The 3rd term Rep. welcomed constituents for a couple hours this evening, learning more about their concerns.

Redistricting changed Merski's district, expanding it to east, so the new office location, he says, can better serve residents in the eastern part of the county.

"What was important to me is being accessible to people, so we're on bus routes like we were in our old district office," said Rep. Merski. "But also we have satellite offices in Greene Township and in Summit Township. We try to be where the people are and serve them as best we can."

Merski's new office is at the intersection of Buffalo and Cumberland Roads, just east of Fourmile Creek.
