NFL Week 6 just wrapped up with the Buffalo Bills hosting the NY Giants in a night game at Highmark Stadium.

In Orchard Park, NY, construction is underway on a new Buffalo Bills stadium, and it won't be too far away from the current one. Actually, it's going up right across the street. So how far along are they?

The stadium is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

"Progress is good. We are happy with the support of the local labor unions, and as we are here today at the career fair, it shows the support that the unions, the county, and the Buffalo Bills have the synergy to make things happen in the Erie County area," said Joe Byrne, VP/Program Director, Bills Stadium Project.

"We are talking about the progress of the stadium, are they meeting their goals, are they on schedule? We are happy to report that they are on schedule and they are working hard," said Howard Johnson, Erie County Legislator. "We just want to make sure the community at large is involved and those who want to participate are involved."

BLACKWELL: That is kind of really what it is about. That is what it is going to take for us to be able to have a successful project, and for us, a successful project is giving a birthplace for where we are going to win a second or superbowl because we are going to win it this year.

"I love that they're keeping the stadium in the south towns, taking the stadium," said James Blackwell, Director of EEO. "The alternative was to move downtown, and I didn't want to see tailgating go away. That's the best part of the game."

"I've been going to the games since like '86. Been a season ticket holder, and as I'm getting older, I don't mind sticking outside here in this weather," said Paul Giddings, Season Ticket Holder. "But I would like to go inside and be able to enjoy a game that's indoors.

"Honestly, excited for the wind to get, you know, be canceled out here. Looking forward to some snow, some rain, like using it to our advantage," said Evan Kraft, Bills Fan. "No dome because we win when the conditions are the worst. Josh Allen is a beast. Stefon Diggs, the beast. You heard it here first, go Bills," said Alex Crawford, Bills Fan.

"Bills Mafia, and us fans here at McCormick's Oasis and parking where we're really disappointed because we're going to lose about 10,000 fans, normal fans and people that usually come here as one big family," said Dave Durolek, Season Ticket Holder. "So, we're going to, we're going to adjust a little bit. It's going to be a little different, I'm sure."

We sure do love our Buffalo Bills here in Buffalo and in Northwest Pennsylvania, and even with the differing opinions on a couple of things, all the fans and officials are always excited to see the Bills play, win, lose, or draw.
