Three Rite Aid locations in northwestern Pennsylvania are closing as part of the drugstore chain's Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The affected stores are located at:

  • E. 28th and Parade St., Erie
  • W. 18th and Liberty St., Erie
  • E. Central Ave., Titusville

They are among 154 stores, which the company identified as "underperforming," set to close. Rite Aid had about 2,100 stores across the U.S. before bankruptcy.

The company is the smallest of the three major drugstore chains behind CVS and Walgreens.
