Ben Friedlander, Mercyhurst University student, says Biden's words expressing the U.S.'s solidarity with Israel are exciting to hear.

"It is exciting, I think it shows that the US is the biggest ally Israel have at the moment and it is all circling around the same idea that Iran basically is behind everything because Hamas are just an extension of Iran so it is very important for the U.S. to show that solidarity we both have, us and the U.S. surviving," Friedlander said.

Friedlander said it is important for everyone to know that there are not two sides to this war.

"It is not Israel vs. Palestine, there are three sides, it is the Israelis, the Palestinians and the terrorist organization, which is Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc.. we have nothing against Palestinians and I am sure most of the Palestinians do not have anything against us. Hamas are the ones controlling the Gaza Strip and they used them as human shields and they do not let them evacuate from from their homes," he said.

"Terrorism should end, we should put an end to it and hopefully less civilians get hurt, which is the best, nobody wants civilians and innocent people to get hurt," he said.
