Erie Prep Academy Hosts First Basketball Game

Erie Prep Academy hosted it first-ever home game Friday, marking a milestone for the new sports-focused academy.
Based at the Erie Sports Center, the academy welcomes students looking to continue their athletic careers, some of whom may be out of high school eligibility but still need a year or two to refine their skills.
The head coach of the fledgling program says it's off to a good start, and getting games under the belts will be critical for his young players.
"Being a first year program, there is definitely a learning curve, and all of our guys have done a great job adjusting," said Erie Prep Academy Head Coach Dino Gigic. "I am excited for a really good, long season ahead of us."
