The Warren County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 83 are announcing the return of their “Shop with a Cop’ program.

This year marks the fourth year the Conewango Township Police have hosted ‘Shop with a Cop’. The event, which is completely funded through donations, connects local officers to children and families in need, ensuring that everyone gets to have a present for the holiday season.

This year's program runs from November 27th until December 23rd with shopping dates set and arranged by officers and the designated recipients.

Police officers also got on board this year by participating in no shave November, raising money for the event.

“We wouldn’t be able to do this without the community or local businesses, or far away businesses and the generosity of our community, said Officer Charles Andersen, Conewango Township Police Patrolman. "Everyone really bands together to make this happen.”

Officers say that this event is one of their favorite times of the year, when they get a chance to help a child in need and brighten their day.
