Friday night's weather would not have made for an enjoyable evening outdoors. But students are Cathedral Prep students learned about what it's like for the people who are less fortunate in our community.

Friday night was the 11th Annual Box Village Fundraiser which took place all night long in front of the school.

The students gave up everything for one night even their cell phones, and lived in card board boxes, as if it was their daily life.

As the number of homeless and those in need within our community rises, the goal of this project is to increase awareness while helping a worthy cause.

This has become a Cathedral Prep tradition, any food they eat is by donation only and they are also collecting donations for Emmaus Soup Kitchen.

The Box Village wraps up Saturday morning.
