A fire broke out in a shed and spread to a house on Erie's west side Friday afternoon, according to reports from the scene.

It was reported in the 1600 block of W. 22nd St. near Greengarden Blvd. just after 2 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire and are working to put out the flames.

About 15 minutes afterwards, all firefighters were ordered to evacuate the structure, forcing them to tackle the fire from the outside.
