Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services is saying "thank you" to Veterans with its Stockings for Soldiers campaign. 

The funeral home is collection monetary donations to fill stockings for Veterans at the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home, VA Medical Center, Pleasant Ridge manor, and other area nursing homes. 

Additionally, interested participants can pick up a stocking(s) at any Burton location, and fill it with recommended items. Stockings should be returned by December 8. 

Recommended stocking stuffers include: 

  • CDs
  • Candy/treats
  • Scratch off Lottery tickets
  • Batteries
  • Socks
  • Tissue
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Activity books
  • Inspirational, daily quotation books

The funeral home will have drop boxes available at all locations from November 24 through December 8.
