Presque Isle State Park is hosting a Lifeguard Open House on Sunday, December 17. The Open House will be  held at the Public Safety Building across from Beach 6 from 1-3 p.m. 

The State Park said the Open House is open to high school and college students. Parents are welcome to join. 

Last year was the first year the park couldn't open all its beaches due to the lack of staff. More information on the open house can be found on the park's website. 

Reservations are appreciated but not required. Applications will be available at the event.
