GoFundMe Set Up for Crash Victim

Family and friends of 24-year-old Ethan Johnson are trying to make sense of the senseless.
"Really, my reaction is just shock," said Johnson's cousin Brittney Belfiore. "I was actually having Christmas with my husband's family because he leaves to go out of town, and my mom called me and she couldn't even breathe."
On Sunday afternoon, Johnson was driving from Titusville to Erie with fiance Christy McCann, when they were involved in a three-vehicle accident on Route 917 in Lebeouf Township.
Johnson's Jeep overturned after it was struck by another SUV. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
McCann was taken to the hospital with injuries.
"I'm trying not to be angry," said Belfiore. "I mean it's hard, especially when he's only 24, so that's the biggest thing. He was planning on getting married in September. They shared a daughter together. His stepdaughter Emma. So really, it's just frustrating I guess and pure shock."
Shortly after his passing, Belfiore started a GoFundMe page to help his family with unforseen expenses.
"I know a lot of things are jumping hoops when it comes to a lot of life insurance or whatever," said Belfiore. "I know it's still under investigation, so to get the funeral going or anything Christy and Emma might need."
In just two days, the account has raised more than $11,000.
"It's amazing," said Belfiore. "Ethan was really known. He was friends with everyone, so it doesn't surprise me that it hit so fast. I'm really glad that people are so generous during this time. He loved life, he loved everyone, and he was really loved."
