State Police Continue to Search for Missing Venango County Man Andrew Armstrong

Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of 43-year-old Andrew J. Armstrong Jr..
Armstrong was last seen in Oakland Township, Venango County on January 3, 1992. Investigators said he had left his residence to go visit a friend.
According to Police, his route of travel would have taken him past the Allegheny River. Investigators discovered that Armstrong might have been walking on or near the ice along the river.
It's believed that Armstrong may have fallen into the river and drowned. However, this has not been confirmed.
The Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding Armstrong's disappearance.
Armstrong was believed to be wearing a two-piece camouflage and orange hunting suit with a pair of sneakers.
