EUMA's Our Neighbors' Place Transitions to St. John the Baptist Church

EUMA's Our Neighbors' Place Seasonal Overflow Shelter is transiting to its 5th location. The shelter will now be located at St. John's Baptist Church at 509 E 26th Street.
The shelter will be providing overnight services from January 10 to 23.
Our Neighbors' Place operates on a rotating basis among several downtown Erie Churches and organizations during the winter season.
According to the the EUMA, the shelter is an overflow shelter that accepts those who are unable to receive shelter at other Erie locations.
Guests will have access to hygiene facilities, sleeping accommodations, and a warm meal. Guests will also have access to resources for homeless individuals from an ONP Client Advocate.
Our Neighbors' Place is designed to host 38 people overnight and has been at or near full capacity most nights since November.
All guests must be referred by Erie County Care Management by calling 814-SHELTER (743-5847).
