The expERIEnce Children's Museum will be hosting a handful of events with Therapy Dogs United, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing positive change to individuals through certified therapy dog programs.

The museum will be hosting a Meet 'n Learn event, with certified therapy dogs during Sensory time, to promote further learning.

Meet 'n Learn will be held on Saturday, January 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will have a chance to visit the first floor to learn more about Therapy Dogs United.

Additionally, Therapy Dogs United will now be part of the museum's Sensory Time on Monday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m.

The Sensory Time program encourages gross motor play that encourages cognitive growth through soothing activities using sights, textures and sounds. Sensory Time offers a unique opportunity for museum-goers to engage with two Certified Therapy Dogs.

Permission slips must be filled out at the front time prior to participating in Sensory Time.

Therapy Dogs United will continue to join the Pre-K classes on February 13 and March 26. Those interested in participating can register online.
