Preparations are underway at Chapman State Park in Warren County for the 2024 Winter Festival in collaboration with the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry.

This year’s festival promises an array of activities for all ages from horse drawn carriage rides to sled dog demonstrations, outdoor educational experiences, and kayak racing down the hill.

The Salvation Army has also brought back their popular Polar Bear Plunge fundraiser.

“Chapman State Park is super excited to be hosting this year’s Warren County Winter Fest, for over thirty years Chapman State Park has been hosting the Winter Festival," stated Cody Miller, Chapman State Park Manager. "This year we will have sled dog demonstrations, ice fishing demonstrations, and an educational tent. We are also going to host the Salvation Army’s Polar Bear Plunge, which I will be a part of. I think it will be a great way to inspire people to come out and see me and other locals jump in the water and just enjoy being outdoors and the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.”

The 2024 Winter Festival will be held at Chapman State Park in Clarendon, PA on Saturday, February 3rd from 10:00AM until 5:00PM.
