Pennsylvania State Police have charged a Springboro woman with animal neglect.

It was reported Jan. 20 around 9:11 p.m. at an address on Water St. in Albion Borough.

Troopers said they found a dog locked inside a 34-year-old woman's vehicle while temperatures were below freezing.

State police have filed charges in the case.
