Bayfront Convention Center Goes to the Dogs for Erie Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show

If you love dogs, the Bayfront Convention Center was certainly the place to be this weekend to see beautiful examples of pups of all sorts.
The Erie Kennel Club Dog Show was back with a big turnout of many breeds of dogs, their patient and proud owners, and lots of dog lovers. This is a two-day all-breed dog show that includes obedience trials and what they call rally trials as well. Visitors could check out the merchandise of over 30 dog vendors.
There was a special attraction both days: a 4-6 month puppy competition.
Erie News Now met one owner enjoying her second year at the Erie show. Her smooth collie competed, and she has high future hopes for her 4-month-old duck tolling retriever.
"I absolutely love this show, so we're coming every year now," said Gabby Casanova. "I can't wait for him to grow up. I'm hopeful for our future together and competing in a whole bunch of sports."
Casanova said she loves how spectator-friendly the Erie Kennel Club show is. This was her second year coming, but she plans to make it a regular stop.
