National Fuel to Lower Monthly Bills Due to Lower Natural Gas Prices

Thanks to lower natural gas prices, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation (National Fuel) customers can expect their monthly bills to decrease starting February 1st.
National Fuel submitted its quarterly adjustment to gas supply charges to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. The adjustment lowers the monthly bill of a typical residential customer from $70.53 to $67.27.
According to National Fuel, the rate adjustment is primary due to lower market prices for natural gas. Due to the lower market prices, the cost of natural gas supplies that National Fuel purchases for customers have decreased.
The next opportunity to adjust gas supply charges will be May 1, 2024.
More information on monthly bills can be found on National Fuel's website.
