Super Bowl's Impact Felt By Local Restaurants
Super Bowl LVIII is expected to be the most watched Super Bowl in the history of the game.
While numbers haven't been officially released, it's expected to beat out Super Bowl LVII's record of over 115 million viewers.
Several local bars and restaurants are thrilled to have seen a boost in business from local viewers watching at home.
"We had a full house here, pretty even split with the fans last night," said Jennifer Cagnoli, a bartender and cook at Coach's Sports Bar & Grill. "We did do a taco bar, $12.00 all you can eat, which was a hit with the customers here. And between to-go orders and carry outs and in house we sold about 2500 wings yesterday."
It's a similar story for Matt Passalinqua, co-owner of Passalinqua's Pizzeria.
"We probably had about 1500 to 2000 wings, probably did about 150 pizzas yesterday, so we had a pretty good day yesterday," said Passalinqua.
