A man is dead following a fire at an apartment in the City of Corry on Saturday.

It was reported in the 200 block of Spring St. just after 2 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find a 65-year-old man who lived at the apartment dead, according to the coroner.

He likely died from smoke inhalation, the coroner said.

The fire was isolated to a rear apartment. We're told another tenant noticed the smoke and called in the fire.

No other injuries have been reported.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
