The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin repairs to the bridge that carries Shreve Ridge Road (Route 1039) over Mosey Run in Bloomfield Township next week.

According to PennDOT, the bridge, located in Crawford County, will be closed beginning on April 15. A detour will be posted using Lake Road and Danner Drive. The bridge is expected to reopen in mid-May.

PennDOT said the project includes reconstruction of the walls of the bridge deck. The bridge was built in 1941.
