The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has resumed work on a $7.8 million project to improve Zuck Road in Millcreek Township.

The project started in April 2023 with resurfacing the entire two0mile stretch of Zuck Rd. from Zimmerly Rd. to West 26th St.

According to PennDOT, work this season will include shoulder widening at the intersection with West Grandview Boulevard to better accommodate for large vehicles, paving as needed within the work area, grass reseeding, and completing the remaining ADA-compliant curb ramps.

PennDOT resumed construction on April 15, 2024 and is expected to complete the project during the 2024 construction season.

PennDOT said motorists may encounter lane restrictions with traffic controlled by flaggers.
