There are a new crop of graduates in our area this Friday, and they are all ready to start careers in the medical field.

They are graduates from what's called: Pathways to Work Freedom House.

This program is a partnership through UPMC Health Plan and ECAT, The Erie Center for Arts and Technology.

This is one of several graduating classes in Erie and Pittsburgh where people in it received hands-on emergency medical service job training.

The freedom house program launched decades ago, but it has recently been revived in Erie and Allegheny Counties.
