Since April 3, 1979, WFSE-FM has been the communications heartbeat for Edinboro State College, Edinboro University and now PennWest Edinboro.

Dr. Gary Christiansen was the first Faculty Advisor for the campus radio station.

On Thursday night, current and former faculty members and students honored Dr. Christiansen.

His tenure last 40 years and his impact on students a lifetime.

The Dinner and Tribute featured the viewing of "35000-The story of College Radio."
