The All-County Art Show is on exhibit at the Warren County Public Library, May 8th until May 14th.

Two hundred and eighteen pieces are currently showcased at the Warren Public Library featuring the talents of local middle and high school students.

The juried event this year also featured 12 different work categories including 2D and 3D pieces.

The Erie News Now team was able to speak with the Best of Show winner and her teacher to get their impressions of the event.

“The Arts are so important for our students," stated Jessica McElhaney, Eisenhower Middle High School Art Teacher. "The confidence that they gain from creating a piece of artwork is amazing. Just to see their growth that they made from start to finish, and the pride that they get from it, is incredible.”

“It’s really interesting, it’s a different feeling than having your art just up in the school, having it in a place where anybody can come see it,” said Cricket Branstrom, Best of Show Winner. "It's also special for me, to win this year, since it's my senior year."

The All-County Art Show will remain on display at the Warren County Public Library until May 14th and is free to the public.
