Millcreek Police, along with a SWAT team, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and Homeland Security, are on the scene of 3218 W. 12th St., near Oregon Ave.

According to our crews at the scene, SWAT was seen trying to convince someone to exit their residence.

Witnesses say at least one person was arrested, and tear gas and flashbangs were used.

Most police left the scene at around 7:30 p.m., with a few staying behind to investigate the scene.

Despite rumors online, Millcreek Police say no officers were injured, issuing the following statement:

"This afternoon, MPD assisted Homeland Security Investigations tactical officers with the service of a search warrant in the area of W. 12 St./Oregon Ave.

We are aware of social media posts that a police officer may have been shot. These posts are not accurate.

Because the investigation is that of another agency, we are not able to comment further on the details of the search warrant.
