The annual Boys & Girls Club of Erie golf tournament was held at Beechwood Golf Club.

"I am starting to learn more about it, it is nice to provide for them, it is a good opportunity and it is nice to see them succeeding," Drew Deimel said.

"For the boys and girls at the Boys & Girls Club it is where they find their structure, their passion and what they are really good at, we have had a great number of success stories that really warm your heart," Owen McCormick, president of the Boys & Girls Club of Erie said.

"To go and see all the sponsorships and then everyone to come out and play today, it has been a lot of fun and I am really thankful for everyone coming out," Charlie Fessler, board trustee of the Boys & Girls Club of Erie said.

"It is always nice getting out and being able to help the community especially a group like the Boys & Girls Club who do so much around Erie and our surrounding areas," Pat McCormick, vice president of Joseph McCormick Construction Company said.

The golfers also thanked Tony Arrigo and Beechwood Golf Club for hosting the tournament.

"It was a great event, the weather turned out nice, we had some iffy weather during the week but it turned out, the golf course played great, they put together a great event with a lot of teams and a lot of fun out there," Arrigo said.
