The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is inviting the public to view the online plans display for a project to replace the bridge that carries Cornish Hill Rd. over Pine Valley Brook in Columbus Township.

The bridge is located on Cornish Hill Rd. between the intersection with Humphrey's Corners Rd. and the intersection with Pine Valley Rd.

According to PennDOT, the project includes the replacement of the upper portion of the existing bridge. Work will also include minor paving near the bridge and updates to drainage and roadway shoulders.

Work is expected to take place during the 2025 construction season.

Additionally, a detour will be in place for approximately four months during construction.

The plans display for the Cornish Hill Rd. Bridge Project will be held online only. It will be open until May 21, 2024 and can be found on PennDOT's website
