Over 190 local women came together to have fun and support an important cause.

Caring for Life, a local non-profit, held their annual Mom Prom on May 10th at the Conewango Club in Warren, PA to raise money for families and children in need.

“The turnout was fantastic," stated Darbee Harrington, Caring for Life Board Member. "We had our second highest turnout for the Mom Prom, raising money for families with seriously ill children in Warren County.”

The event raised over $9,000.00 for the cause, helping Caring for Life continue their mission to assist local families with ill children.

"It’s a phenomenal organization that helps so many families throughout Warren County,” Julie Dalton, Caring for Life Board member said. "I believe that if more people knew about our organization, and all the good that it is providing families, we could grow even larger and help even more people."

“I have been a part of this organization for several years now," stated Harrington. "Seeing events like the Mom Prom succeed boosts your faith in humanity. To see so many people supporting such an important cause, it gives me hope.”

Caring for Life's Mom Prom proved to be a success not only in fundraising but also in bringing the community together.

The organization will be a part of Warren Gives, an online 16-hour charitable event held on May 15th.
