Brianna Lyle from Zadie's Gourmet shares her Lemon Pasta recipe. 



  • 8 oz. pasta 
  • 6 tbsp. salted butter
  • 1 lemon, cut in half & seared 
  • 2 minced garlic cloves 
  • salt & pepper to taste 
  • Parmesan & parsley to top 


  1. Salt & boil large pot of water 
  2. Meanwhile, use a small amount of oil on a cast iron pan to sear your cut lemons until sticky and fragrant (about 2-3 minutes) 
  3. When pasta is nearly done, heat butter and garlic in skillet and cook until fragrant; add lemon juice from lemon 
  4. When pasta is al dente, remove with tongs directly into skillet. Turn off heat and stir. 
  5. Top with parmesan and parsley, enjoy!
