Wegmans on Wednesday hosted its sixth annual United Way bingo night.

The goal is to raise support, awareness and money for the local organization to help kids in the community.

There were nine rounds of cash bingo, as well as purse bingo and raffle prizes.

Last year, it raised $8,000 for United Way, and this year, they hope to raise $10,000.

The store manager of the Wegmans on Peach St. said helping the community is one of the store's priorities.
